Vehicle lettering & decals

The most cost-effective sign you’ll ever buy. A good set of door letters, your phone number on the tailgate, and a USDOT plate properly sized — that’s the bones of a working trade truck. We’ve been cutting vinyl for trucks in Grimsby since 1998 and we know the regs cold.

What “good lettering” actually means

• Readable from 50 feet. Phone numbers in 4–6” type, business name in 6–10”.
• Sized to the panel. Letters that crowd a door look amateur. We’ll send you a proof on a photo of your truck.
• Properly spaced. Hand-kerned (or near enough) so the eye reads the word, not the gaps.

What we use

For cut vinyl on commercial vehicles we default to 3M Scotchcal 7725 — seven-year outdoor rating, weeds and applies cleanly, and the colour holds up under Ontario salt. For trailers we’ll often go reflective (3M 680) so the rig still does its job at night.
