Light sign-boxes
Face-lit and edge-lit cabinets for storefronts, plazas and pylon signs. LED-converted from day one.
A lit box is the workhorse of retail and plaza signage. We build the cabinet from extruded aluminum, light it with current-gen LEDs (no more humming fluorescents), and second-surface print the face so the graphic stays crisp through years of UV.
How we build them
- Cabinet — extruded aluminum frame, powder-coated, with a hinged or removable face for service.
- Face — 3/16” white polycarbonate or acrylic, printed on the inside (the “second surface”) so the print never sees a squeegee.
- Light — 6500K modular LEDs, evenly spaced for no hotspots.
- Mount — wall fascia, blade, or pylon. We coordinate with your electrician for the connection.
We handle the engineered drawings if your municipality requires them for a permit — common in Hamilton, Burlington and the Niagara Region.
